Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?
fallen, and economic inequality gaps significantly reduced/closed. And I passionately seek to lead policy changes that can see to the reality of this vision.
It's all part of making a better world.
My objective is a comprehensive, strategic reform and revamping of the educational sector, in order to build/promote opportunities for wealth creation, which in turn can reduce poverty and economic inequality in Nigeria. I choose this strategy because it can impact several intermediate variables that will ultimately address the major problem — poverty and inequality.
This is really going to help people.
The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by the poor people of Nigeria, though I expect that it have pervasive impact.
It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:
Increased expenditure on education, to build modern, sophisticated, and well-equipped learning structures — laboratories and classrooms; train teachers and to establish functional research centres.
Educational benefits/free education for the extremely poor — those living below $2 daily
Produce graduates with quality soft and hard skills that can practicably be commercialised to create wealth without necessarily seeking employment outside.
I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.
Graduate unemployment and general unemployment rates after implementation; new number of people living in absolute poverty; number of self-employed; and rate of school enrolments after implementation.
Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
