Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?
My passion is to become a skilled clinical researcher, but most importantly, to be able to share this skill. I want to be a mentor in training young ones and guiding them on how to go about conducting clinical research.
It's all part of making a better world.
Skilled and talented clinical researchers are highly needed in Africa where I come from. The knowledge from such research can be translated into improved patients care and management, so, we need to be able to generate our own local data and use the evidence-based results obtained to guide local policies and guidelines
This is really going to help people.
The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by Patients, Co-workers
It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:
Development of local protocols for managing the various clinical conditions of our patients
Collaboration with both national and international partners
Publication in high impact scientific journals
I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.
Using our locally generated data to guide treatment management
Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
