Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?

I want to train young people in life skills, social and business skills and equip them with professional and vocational skills. When they acquire these skills they will be financially independent and can even support some of the vulnerable groups in their communities who are their family members.

It's all part of making a better world.

When the young people acquire the social skills and professional knowledge, the can start small businesses or get jobs. The unemployment rates will reduce and crimes and other vices will be reduced and ultimately eliminated.

This is really going to help people.

The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by the young people between the ages of 18 and 25 years who are residents of the target communities where these interventions will be implemented. Ultimately, the whole society will be positively impacted.

It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:

Increased numbers of young people with key professional and vocational skills

Reduced unemployment among young men and women in the target age groups ( 18- 25 years)

Reduced crimes committed by out of school youth and unemployed young people.

I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.

Success will be measured by the number of people who are reached with the skills and knowledge acquisition.
Also the number of them who have gone beyond acquiring the skills to actually applying them in their lives and professions/ vocations.
I will also collect specific success stories of the interventions.

Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
