I want to reduce Pollution of disposable plastic waste in my country. This is a global issue; plastics make up 85% of beach litter across the world, kills 1.1 million marine creatures annually. Refuse in Nigeria stops at the dump sites, sometimes they burn the waste. Rainy season last year, floods many cities across the country and the fact that they are non-biodegradable.it’s ecological danger on both land
It's all part of making a better world.
REDUCE
Using other alternatives instead of plastic. Use plastic when it’s strictly necessary, and straws can be eliminated.
REUSE
It’s important to consider how they can be reused. People should be reusing all their plastic bags and Shops should sell reusable canvas bags rather than plastics.
RECYCLE
Government implement clearer labelling for plastic packaging, so consumers are clear about their recy
This is really going to help people.
The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by everyone, animals, land and water.
It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:
reduce pollution of waste that affects land
easy flow of water, reduce flood
reduce harmful chemicals that comes from plastic into water to kill animals
I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.
by knowing that there has been a reduce in flood in my country, reduce in pollution of enrolment, reduce in animal death in water caused by chemicals of plastic waste.
