Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?

I want to make UK schools a safe place to thrive for every child by eradicating all forms of bullying. Every child should have equal chances to develop confidence, self-worth and their talents, skills and abilities without fear. No child should be caused short or long-term emotional or physical pain by attending school.

It's all part of making a better world.

I want every young person, without any restrictions, to live life to their highest potential and contribute to society will all skill and talent available to them. Every young person should feel valued, needed and important to society and free to acknowledge their inner power and ability to achieve what they dream of. No peer inflicted emotional pain should ever hold a person back from reaching their goals.

This is really going to help people.

The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by children and teenagers aged 10 -15, their teachers and their parents. Whilst bullying is reported throughout the UK and in all income groups, the biggest change will be seen in economically deprived areas outside of London as well as in pupils with a disability or long-term illness.

It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:

Increased levels of confidence and self-worth in young people

Freedom for young people to explore their authentic talents, skills and abilites

Equal chances for every young person to reach their highest potential in life

I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.

No more children will be taken out of school or moved to different schools because of bullying. Incidences of physical violence at schools will shrink significantly. Pupils will report increased emotional and physical well-being within their respective school environments. Schools will be seen as a safe place by children and teachers alike. Overall school performance will increase.

Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
