Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?

I want to instill values into people's consciousness and everyday lives through values based education at all levels of learning and professional life. I want people to be morally conscious, have and uphold a values system, and have respect for fundamental human rights and the rule of law.

It's all part of making a better world.

I want values to be restored into the society. I want individuals to develop and live by an acceptable value system. I desire to see a new breed of leaders in my generation who are passionate and stand for what is morally right and acceptable. I am looking forward to a world where people do what is right because they are a people of integrity; a society that celebrates character.

This is really going to help people.

The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by students (at all levels of education) teachers, parents, professionals, political leaders and government officials.

It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:

Create a practicable values system template for different categories of people in society

Inculcate values based education into the Nigerian educational system

Create a policy or set of policies that back up values based education in Nigeria

I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.

I have successfully achieved my vision when :
1) There is an existing policy on values based education in Nigeria, as well as an existing (and practicable) values system template for every strata of societal living
2) Schools and professional institutions enforce values policy
3) The society begins to celebrate character (and good morals)
4) Corruption wanes and reliable leaders are at the helm of affairs

Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
