Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?
I want to help the less privileged Youth( especially young women) attain full potentials and bring opportunities to excel closer to them through mentor-ship. I grew up in a rural environment and I still live there, and I have seen that often times we have a lot of brilliant minds in rural areas, but they lack mentor-ship and are not even aware of the opportunities around them.
It's all part of making a better world.
I have thought about this severally, I believe if we can help and also involve the youth in rural areas, we are not just trying to empower them, we are lifting them up from poverty and creating room for leaders that will represent the less privileged individuals in the world. This policy supports reduction in inequality, poverty and encourages Youth empowerment.
This is really going to help people.
The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by the Youth in local communities; especially the female, because I am really passionate about seeing the Nigerian woman doing better for herself. I also think the state, nation and the world will benefit from engaging the youth in the rural areas, this will reduce the rate of crime, increase productivity, reduce poverty etc.
It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:
I want to see that, the Youths in rural communities are never left out, that is to say; the are involved in every life changing opportunity.
I want to see that, the Youths pursue their dreams without feeling lost or unwanted.
I want to see that, their background does not limit their success and they can come back to help others in the community.
I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.
When I see that more less privileged youths are learning to embrace their dreams, when I see that young females prioritize their success in life, When I see the less privileged youths working towards their dreams fearlessly and when opportunities involving the youths are generalized and not being bias due to lack of connection or money.
Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
