Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?
I want to give awareness to people that human rights cover all levels of society regardless of race, condition, religion, and other factors. Including persons with disabilities. In my country, most people still don't really care about people with disabilities, as well as the local government. There are still few policies from local governments that can support the rights of persons with disabilities.
It's all part of making a better world.
I want all aspects of human rights to be comprehensively implemented, from freedom of expression to perhaps regulations requiring all public service buildings to be used by persons with disabilities.
This is really going to help people.
The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by every citizen. Especially people with disabilities.
It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:
Freedom of speech for the public in criticizing the government. Of course beyond violence and harmful actions.
Reform of article that does not respect the value of human rights in the constitution.
Establish privileges for persons with disabilities.
I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.
With changing regulations that do not uphold human rights. And perhaps the physical measure of success can be seen with public services that can be easily accessed by persons with disabilities.
Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
