Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?
I want to ensure that workers are safe in their places of work.
It's all part of making a better world.
My greatest achievement would be to see workers still being healthy and effective even at 60 years of their age. Total reduction in long term sicknesses, like sight problems, Cancer, etcetera.
This is really going to help people.
The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by all the workers, be it private or public.
It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:
Safe working environment for workers
Provision of appropriate personal protective equipment where required
Workers given rest periods, thereby creating room for interchange.
I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.
Through results. That is, seeing agencies set up to monitor the practice or implementation of occupational health and safety in all working sector without compromise.
