Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?

I want to ensure that every person in Africa enjoys clean, sustainable and affordable energy for cooking, lighting and space heating.

It's all part of making a better world.

When everyone has access to energy, women will spend less time preparing for food, health hazards from fumes will drastically reduce, children will work on their academic work, more businesses will thrive in rural areas, rate of deforestation will reduce and there will be an improved general well being.

This is really going to help people.

The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by the poor population. Women will cook in a healthy environment, children will carry out their evening studies and a conducive environment.

It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:

Reduced diseases from inhaling gases while cooking

Improved performance in school

Improved economic activities due to businesses

I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.

Traditional unclean sources of energy such as biomass and kerosene will no longer be in use.
