Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?
I want to ensure that every person has access to political and legal training and knowledge. This can be done either online, or making it a compulsory field in schools. I feel like this is imperative as voters, many of us do not know how the government functions, or at least basic understanding of contracts and legal documents which are regularly used.
It's all part of making a better world.
It would help people make more informed decisions, and save them pain. Furthermore, it would help increase knowledge of others as a whole.
This is really going to help people.
The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by students at this point of time. They will be the ones who'll have time and can/will make the effort of learning more, especially before entering higher study and/or the workforce.
It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:
Fall in legal fraud
Deeper, well-informed discussions on politics
Higher knowledge of political processes and legal structures in students
I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.
This is a very diffuse idea, therefore the preliminary way of assessment of outcomes would be through taking quizzes and tests among students. Even if they are disinterested, even by slightly hearing things, it is possible that they'll be able to protect themselves from any future frauds/errors.
Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
