Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?

I want to ensure quality education for all. I would like to persuade the policymakers to adopt suitable policies to ensure desired level of learning outcomes for all children at schools in India.

It's all part of making a better world.

I want to achieve a target of quality education for all children who attends school and improve their learning outcome in a classroom teaching-learning process. I want to ensure that a desired learning outcome is achieved by all children, through tracking progress of each child in specific learning areas and arrangement of early intervention to support weaker children.

This is really going to help people.

The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by the children, teachers and parents. If children are attaining a certain level of learning outcome, their overall development in cognitive, affective and psychomotor domain would make them capable and employable for future. Teachers may also improve their teaching as they get an insight of the students' learning pro

It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:

Abilities of children in multidimensional scale through item response theory

Assessments and evaluations of students performance

Other factors affecting student achievement eg socio-economic profile of a child, test item characteristics etc.

I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.

To measure success in terms of progress in learning, I would propose a bottom-up approach for conducting an achievement survey and assessment of students in grass-root level in a cluster of schools. An ongoing process of assessment and improvement may provide feedback to the policymakers and classroom teachers so that early and appropriate intervention can be made.

Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
