Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?
I want to end statelessness for Palestinians. Palestinians should be granted special status as refugees in the country where they apply for asylum because many palestinians don't have a valid passport which deprives them of opportunities in education, health care and job search.
It's all part of making a better world.
If Palestinians can legally apply for a passport, they can start calling a country their home, they can get a good education, provide for their families and start to build a future instead of revisiting the past.
This is really going to help people.
The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by Palestinian refugees in any host country male and female.
It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:
Palestinians will be able to get an education and get well paid jobs
By being accepted and welcomed into a society, Palestinians will be able to spread a more optimistic future vision for their own people.
Palestinians will end widespread poverty and frustration.
I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.
If governments agreed to accept stateless Palestinian refugees and granted immediate documentation, their global search for a home would end: governments would adopt a special clause to give those in search of a safer place to live an opportunity to improve their own life and that of their people in Palestine.
Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
