Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?

I want to empower communities, especially those who are vulnerable and do not have access to social services, to be able to have an information dissemination campaign on how local government processes work, make the complex nuances of government comprehensible to the common man, how they can use this to voice out their grievances, and ultimately create policies for their community issues.

It's all part of making a better world.

I envision a community that is well-informed of their rights, knowing the role of the local government to alleviate them from any form of poverty, and a community where different organizations with the help of those in power work in harmony to create a stable and developed society.

This is really going to help people.

The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by people in the communities that are below the poverty line, those politically or socially illiterate, and experience social injustices due to their status.

It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:

Community members will be more aware of their rights and how government works.

Stronger bond between government and NGOs that represent the community members' grievances.

Hold local government units accountable with the actions and policies that they have.

I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.

- More people involved in the political issues in their community.
- Aware demographic of what their local government is doing and holding them accountable.
- Different coalitions within the community that represent their community concerns.

Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
