Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?

I want to champion for youth economic empowerment to increase fully engaged in nation building and decision making in the country and world over.

It's all part of making a better world.

This will help us have economically empowered young generation who will be productive, innovative and fully engaged in nation building. The country will have highly skilled and productive workforce that can help stimulate economic growth and development.

This is really going to help people.

The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by youth graduates from higher learning institutions in Kenya. This group has been neglected by the government's affirmative action plan which only seeks to support the high school and primary school drop-outs but is mute on the fate of unemployed graduates. This will eventually improve public service delivery and productivity in the private sector of the economy.

It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:

Increased absorption rate of graduates into government service delivery units.

Increased absorption of the young gradates into the private sectors of the economy.

Increased earnings and living standards among the youthful graduates.

I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.

.By parliament adopting paid internship & apprenticeship policies in the public sector for graduates.
. Asking government to invest in ICT Hubs in all the constituencies, and provide funding grants for graduates who have innovative startups.
. Paid internships in the private sector through Public Private Partnerships.
. Advocating for meritocracy in public service recruitment process to minimize graft

Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
