Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?

I want all young people to enjoy their lives, reach their full potential and make a good transition to adulthood.

Young people should have a voice and a chance to be involved in shaping the world around them because they will be living in it.

They should be able to achieve their ambitions, develop positive relationships and make worthwhile contributions to their communities.

It's all part of making a better world.

It is a world which has created a supportive and safe environment for young people to enable their wellbeing, growth, and development.
It is an inclusive, equal and diverse society of which young people are an important part. This society respects and empowers young people and is positive about their future and their role in today's world.

This is really going to help people.

The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by all young people living in the United Kingdom, regardless of their location, background, age or experiences.

Other beneficiaries will include society as a whole, the families of these young people, schools and other institutions including local authorities and government departments who are responsible for young people's safety, future, and wellbeing.

It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:

All young people have access to both universal services and targeted support through locally delivered spaces and activities.

All young people have the opportunity to contribute to the decision-making processes which affect their lives both locally and nationally.

All young people should be able to enjoy their lives, reach their full potential and make a good transition to adulthood.

I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.

- Change in policy clearly setting out the responsibilities for the delivery of adequately funded youth services
- A higher number of decision-making processes which actively and effectively engage young people (through local authorities, government departments, APPGs, youth organisations, etc)
- Improvement in measurable outcomes for young people (health, education, employment, happiness, affluence, etc.)

Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
