Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?

I envision a world that is free from child deprivations, abuse, violence and a world where the rights of the child is fully implemented.

It's all part of making a better world.

Every child has the right to health, education and protection and every society has a stake in expanding children's opportunities in life. The eradication of child deprivations, abuses, violence and the full implementation of the rights of the child will have positive and far reaching effects on the health and socioeconomic condition of children in the world. Children will be more creative and positive.

This is really going to help people.

The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by children living on the streets, children affected by communal conflicts, drug abuse, human trafficking and the weaknesses of the juvenile justice system, stunted children and children who drop out of school. Also, poor families who struggle to afford basic health care and nutrition for their children, orphanages and the less privileged in Nigeria and the world.

It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:

Reduction in school drop out rate among children.

Reduction in the number of children who are victims of communal conflicts being used as foot soldiers.

Protection of children against drug abuse, human trafficking and prevention of stunted growth among children.

I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.

The success of getting my vision into action will be measured through observations, surveys, interviews and obtaining current data from the government agencies on children's welfare and comparing them with previous data to ascertain the differences which represents the level of success made.

Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
