Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?
I envisage a clearer pathway to intercultural understanding to ensure a better, more open world for future generations. I think this can be achieved through language learning and promoting cultural opportunities at home and abroad.
It's all part of making a better world.
A world where everyone is better placed to understand their neighbours and other points of view thanks to the additional cultural understanding and communication skills learned via language classes and more intercultural pursuits.
This is really going to help people.
This will hopefully have an impact on everyone, as we should all be able to reap the benefits of a more open world. However, future generations are the ones who will be best placed to benefit from this. It would also be useful for improving social mobility and improving the integration of minorities.
It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:
Improved linguistic and communication skills for younger people
Lower rates of inequality
I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.
When there is a much clearer, more honest approach to disagreements across cultural divides and inequality has lowered considerably.
Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
