Well done! You now have a foundation for taking your ideas forward.

To help you out, your vision has been turned into a pitch that you can start using straight away - print or save this page so you can keep and use it...your first chance to share it is coming up in the next step of the programme.

Read your vision, save it and then go back to to the programme page and go to the next step.

Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?

Every child regularly outdoors learning about how to produce food sustainably to protect our planet. Children need to experience Nature close-up to become excited and inspired to care for it. They need to grow their own food and through hands-on learning discover how we need Nature to help us grow our food and how Nature needs us to protect it.

It's all part of making a better world.

Physically and mentally healthy children equipped with the knowledge and skills to produce food to sustain their communities without compromising the ability of their children and grandchildren to do the same in the future. A world richer in Biodiversity more resilient and able to repair the damage caused by the planet.

This is really going to help people.

The impact of my vision will be felt equally by children and their families and Nature.initially in my home country but could spread through international partners for health and environment to other countries.

It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:

Attitudinal and behavioural change towards protecting and restoring Nature

Knowledge and Skills acquisition on how to grow food sustainably in partnership with Nature

Quantitative evidence to support the hypothesis that hands-on outdoor learning about producing food sustainably is more effective than theoretical class-based learning

I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.

If before and after surveys of attitudinal and behaviour change demonstrate positive change towards protecting Nature
I would test knowledge and skills acquisition through the ability of children to cascade knowledge and skills to their peers or another year group.
Inclusion of regular outdoor learning on producing food sustainably in the core curriculum with equal standing alongside Literacy and Numeracy.

Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
