Hi there. Can I tell you what I dream of doing?
A focus on gender bias and social inequality through radical advocacy for the inclusion of girls in the day-to-day running of societal programs inclusive of policy-making, most especially that which affect their lives. Structuring a plan through Girl Centered Design process and modelling out basic solution and models that compels such change while involving the girl child into the design process.
It's all part of making a better world.
What do you want to achieve? Through basic equality and elimination of all gender base barriers, the girl child will not just find her voice in the society but will become better productive adding value not just to the micro scale society but positively affecting and advancing the development of the world through sound and carefully crafted policy ideas.
This is really going to help people.
The impact of my vision will be mainly felt by women and girls across all strata of the society most especially the vulnerable who are major victims of this scourge and are unable to find their voice as a result of societal intimidation and gender segregation. It cuts across various geographical areas most especially within communities and small towns whose harmful practices encourages such evil.
It's not just about having an idea though - here are the things I know I can achieve:
Awareness for the girl child
Inclusion of girls in both societal and national programs that affect policy-making
Gender equality across boards
I'm going to make this happen, and this is how I know it'll make a difference.
Basic indicators and tools include; A change in societal malaise towards the girl child.
Total awareness of the girl child across board and a change in environmental cum social attitude of the girl child.
Public prosecution of perpetrators of all gender-base crimes including assault of all kinds
Government recognition of all gender in the appointment of personnel and recruitment plan.
Equal pay checks
Thanks for listening to me. Will you help me build a better world?
